As “Jiva Daya” means compassion for all living beings; we human beings at our higher intellect should aims to protect environment and animals. As such we need to ends the misery of stray animal as well.
As part of a natural cycle, animals give birth to excess offspring. These surplus animals rely on humans and garbage for sustenance. In this scenario, MCT intervenes to improve the living conditions of these stray animals by addressing overpopulation through sterilization treatments.
Vaccination of Rabies, provides safety to human and animals. It ensures that both humans and animals can coexist without the fear of a potentially deadly disease. By preventing the spread of rabies, we not only protect public health but also promote a more harmonious relationship between people and their pets or livestock.
Stray animals depend for food on Human and Garbage. On the continuous development of “Keep City Clean” & “Building Skyscrapers” there has been the lack of animal food in surroundings.
Root Cause: Animals with lack of food get wild and attacks on human territory with bites to death.
MCT feels responsible for such stray animals and feed them with food, love, care.
Thus, balancing Human-Animal conflict and giving value and dignity to stray animals.
Stray Animals like Dogs, Cats, Cow, Pigeon, Crow fall ill or meet with accidents in this human created society. We become responsible at such instances to cure and bring healthy life to them. MCT provides medical care to such stray animal to prove human’s duty for Animal.

Stray Animals like Dogs, Cats, Goat, Cow, are mostly live in and around human settlement. Most of parent animal after giving birth to baby animals, disappears.
At such time, baby animals are left alone. They long for humans to nurture and care for them. MCT supports such adoption and adopters as feels responsible to all living beings. This act also increases bond and faith among human and animal to create a responsible society.
Parent Animal disappear due to:
1) Death while delivering
2) Accident
3) Fall
4) Thunder
5) Lost way back
Humans while driving on road, sometimes due to darkness and fogginess unseen animals and meet with accidents. Such accidents lead to death to animals and humans as well.
To remain caution at such instances, MCT provides Reflective Belts to animals like cow, dogs etc. This Reflective Belt glows with light in darkness and alert human while driving.
Animals get homeless and are helpless at their old age, blindness, sickness. Mostly happens when the owners disown their pets at such stages. The way humans need love and care at such instances, animal as well need the same.
MCT supports such rescuer and adopters to saves and care for animals with shelter.

Development: Mining Development in Forest has a been an important venture for human to reduce dependency on importing mineral and saving money. This development also provides with new jobs opportunity to tribal and local people.
Consequence: Behind all these progress, wild life is such forest get prone to accidents due to human movements around. Animals gets dependent on humans for their treatment.
Solutions: In such condition MCT set it foots forward and support Forest Department to set up the “Animal Medical treatment Centre” to cure for:

In an effort to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and promote safe practices in dealing with snakes, Miam Charitable Trust, in collaboration with Surjagad Ispat Pvt. Ltd., organized a Snake Rescue and Release Workshop in Wadlapeth village, Gadchiroli. This unique initiative was designed to educate the community on the importance of protecting wildlife while ensuring human safety.
Our Commitment to Wildlife Protection
At MCT, we believe that protecting wildlife is essential to sustaining our planet’s biodiversity. Through programs like the Snake Rescue and Release Workshop, we strive to educate and empower communities to become guardians of their environment.
1. Promoting Wildlife Awareness
The workshop aimed to foster respect for snakes and other wildlife, helping community members understand the vital role snakes play in the ecosystem and dispelling common misconceptions.
2. Safe Rescue and Release Techniques
Participants were trained in safe methods to rescue and release snakes, reducing the risk of harm to both humans and animals. This hands-on experience equips community members with the knowledge needed to protect themselves and avoid unnecessary harm to the snakes.
3. Distribution of Snake Catching Sticks
As part of the program, specially designed snake-catching sticks were distributed to attendees, enabling them to safely handle snakes if encountered. This tool not only enhances safety but also empowers community members to participate actively in wildlife conservation.
4. Building a Conservation-Minded Community
Through this awareness initiative, Miam Charitable Trust and Surjagad Ispat Pvt. Ltd. are nurturing a conservation-minded community that values and respects the natural world. This workshop is a step towards reducing human-wildlife conflict and fostering a harmonious coexistence.
