Nitu Joshi is a social entrepreneur, humanitarian leader, creative professional, and founder of Miam Charitable Trust. With experience in the entertainment, television, film, fashion, and dress designing industry, she has worked on multiple creative projects that strengthened her understanding of storytelling, culture, communication, and human connection.

Driven by the values of humanity, compassion, ethical leadership, sustainability, and community empowerment, she later dedicated her journey toward grassroots social impact and sustainable rural transformation through NGO-led initiatives.

Today, through Miam Charitable Trust, she is actively working across rural and tribal communities in the fields of women empowerment, child development, environmental sustainability, animal welfare, green livelihood generation, skill development, climate-conscious initiatives, and community development.

Being born as a human and understanding humanity are two different things. A person may be born into this world as a human, but values such as humanity, compassion, ethics, kindness, empathy, and social responsibility are learned through family, society, culture, and the environment around us.

There comes a moment in life when we realize that true success is not measured only by personal achievements, but by the ability to create meaningful social impact, uplift communities, protect nature, and give back to society with the right mindset and purpose. That belief became the foundation behind the creation of Miam Charitable Trust.

We believe that hunger, pain, emotions, and suffering are not limited only to humans. Every living being seeks care, dignity, compassion, and the right to coexist peacefully — whether human or animal.

Driven by this philosophy, Miam Charitable Trust is working to build compassionate, empowered, and sustainable communities through women empowerment, child development, environmental sustainability, animal welfare, skill development, green livelihood generation, and grassroots community transformation initiatives.
