₹ 24,000 / yearRestoring Humanity, One Life at a Time. A dedicated NGO working towards Education, Humanity, and the Environment across India.
Mïam Charitable Trust is a Government-of-India-registered NGO headquartered in Andheri West, Mumbai, working pan-India at the grassroots level — with deep, on-ground operations in Gadchiroli, Nashik, Chandrapur, and Mumbai's underserved communities, and partner-led drives spanning Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Meerut, and Tripura. Founded in 2021 by award-winning social entrepreneur Nitu Joshi, MIAM (pronounced "MEE-am") was built to restore humanity to the people most invisible to mainstream India — Adivasi (indigenous tribal) families, single mothers, orphaned children, the rural elderly, and animals neglected by overstretched public systems. We welcome donors from across India and around the world.
Our mission is simple but uncompromising: "dosro ki liye bhi jeena sikho" — learning to live for others. Every initiative we run, from free competitive-exam coaching for tribal youth to tree-plantation drives in Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary, is built around three timeless pillars — Manvta (humanity), Sanskruti (cultural heritage), and Sanskar (ethics & values). We don't run "schemes" — we run relationships, with measurable outcomes documented across national press, government recognition, and independent media.
In just a few years, MIAM has become one of the most-reported emerging NGOs in India. Our flagship programme — "Har Ghar Naukri, Jeevan Bhar Roshni" (A Job in Every Home, Light for a Lifetime) — has placed 20+ tribal youth from Gadchiroli and Nashik into paramilitary, police, BSF, CISF, and Indian Army positions through completely free academic + physical training. This work has been featured by Mid-Day, The Hans India, Free Press Journal, The Print, DNA India, Lokmat Times, Dainik Bhaskar, Nagpur Today, and Wikipedia, among 50+ outlets in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
We are a Section 80G & 80GGA recognised charitable trust, with Government of India registrations including 80G (URN: AAITM1924DF20231), 12A (URN: AAITM1924DE20221), and NITI Aayog Darpan UID (MH/2024/0417254). All donations to Mïam Charitable Trust are eligible for 50% tax exemption under Section 80GGA of the Income Tax Act, India. Every rupee is documented. Every drive is photographed. Every beneficiary has a name.
Our work is built on timeless Indian values — a framework of humanity, culture, and ethics that guides every initiative we undertake.
Humanity
Humanity is the greatest, most defining quality of our species—the invisible thread that connects us to our fellow human beings, as well as the animals and birds that share our world. We empower the youth with these exact qualities, teaching them that true strength lies in lifting others up and showing mercy to the voiceless.
Cultural Heritage
Culture plays an incredibly major role in connecting diverse people and transforming the human experience. We promote lasting social harmony through community bonding, fostering a sense of unbreakable togetherness through vibrant festival celebrations.
Values
Value Education (Sanskar) plays a vital, non-negotiable role in both the outer behavior and the inner psychological development of our youth. These foundational values form the bedrock of human bonding to build a secure, empathetic society.

Mïam Charitable Trust is a dedicated, rapidly developing NGO making a measurable, positive impact on human lives, animal welfare, and environmental health every single year. We focus our resources on Adivasi (indigenous) empowerment and rural development.
We operate on the fundamental truth that humans, animals, and the natural environment are deeply and inextricably interconnected. We help marginalized communities take the reins in actively shaping their own successful futures through vital Government schemes.
Seven focused missions radiating from our core — मानवता, संस्कृति, संस्कार — each designed to uplift the most vulnerable communities.
Mission Rozgar — Free competitive exam coaching, physical training, and knowledge centres for underprivileged youth. Our academies empower tribal and rural students to achieve government employment and self-reliance.
From the Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary to urban Mumbai, our plantation drives protect ecosystems and combat climate change through community-led conservation.
Comprehensive care for stray and destitute animals: sterilization drives, vaccination programs, daily feeding rounds, emergency medical treatment, and snake rescue workshops in Chandrapur-Gadchiroli. Every life matters.
Training tribal women in leadership, self-governance, and economic independence. We also provide compassionate care for the elderly, organize cultural festivals (उत्सव का संकल्प), and run youth sports tournaments.
