Founded in 2021 by Nitu Joshi — a Business and Social Entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience and Director of the Ebina Group — MIAM operates on the philosophy of "Manvta, Sanskruti, Sanskar" (humanity, cultural heritage, values).
The trust operates pan-India across five focus areas — education, environment, animal welfare, women's empowerment, and medical care — with deepest direct on-ground presence in Nashik, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, and Mumbai, and partner-led drives in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Meerut, and Tripura. Flagship initiatives include the MIAM Career Academies in Waghera and Chintalpeth (free coaching for police, defence, and government recruitment exams); Library Academies in Lahvit and Donwade staffed by qualified women; the "हर आंगन में एक फलदार पेड़" fruit-tree campaign in Vadalapeth village; the Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary plantation drive (400+ trees); the women-led RUHI Caters livelihood programme; and the eight-pillar animal-welfare model in partnership with the Forest Department and Tadoba Wildlife Centre.
